The website Superdeluxeedition have had an exclusive, if brief, preview of Pink Floyd's forthcoming Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here and The Wall Immersion box sets recently, and have posted their thoughts on what they heard.
The preview took place on Astoria, David Gilmour's houseboat studio, with engineer Andy Jackson and studio manager and guitar tech Phil Taylor. Gems they heard included the original 1972 mix of The Great Gig in the Sky (featuring a man's voice shouting from a megaphone, and is apparently quite heavy on the Hammond Organ), Wish You Were Here featuring Stephane Grappelli, and the "Work In Progress" version of Another Brick in the Wall (Part One). Once you've checked out their notes, find out full details of ALL the releases along with ordering details, here.
An official Q&A with Nick Mason has also taken place, and excerpts have been running on the Floyd's Facebook page regularly. They've now posted the full Q&A on the Floyd's Youtube channel.
