Guy Pratt's Wake Up CallThe Steve Lamacq show on BBC Radio 6 Music this coming Thursday (August 5th), continues Lamacq's interviews with key Edinburgh Fringe Festival performers, with Guy Pratt chatting on the show about the upcoming run of his new "Wake Up Call" show [click thumbnail, right]. Guy talks about life playing bass for the likes of Pink Floyd and David Gilmour, lifts the lid on life in the studio, and reveals just what life is like as a session musician.

The show airs between 4pm - 7pm BST, can be heard in the UK and many parts of Europe, as well as online at the BBC website worldwide, and more details can be found here.

While you are waiting to hear this show, don't forget to enter our latest competition to win a pair of tickets for Guy's Edinburgh show - you got 11:59pm GMT on August 8th, 2010 to get your entry to us, so just a few days left; full details of the competition here.

UPDATE: Many congratulations to the two winners of a pair of tickets for Guy's Edinburgh stand-up show... Mark Lawrie, of Kirkcaldy, Scotland, and Dr Kent Hurtig, of Uppsala, Sweden (who'll be in Scotland during the run of Guy's show). Well done to these two, and commiserations to those who weren't so fortunate...
