Hopefully by now many of you are starting to receive their copies of the David Gilmour: The Luck and Strange Concerts, as well as the Live At The Circus Maximus releases in the various formats that they have been made available in, and released yesterday (Friday, October 17th).
Initial feedback we're seeing from people is that a great job has been done with the physical editions (audio and video), with those who are listening on various streaming services also commenting on the high quality of the mix. Polly Samson's newly published book about the recording, rehearsing and touring of the new album, and the limited box set, both look great too.
For those yet to get the live album, or who fancy some additional tracks unavailable elsewhere, there's a new, limited Carpe Diem Edition available for a short time. Pitched at a decent price, it includes all the live tracks from the normal release, but these are joined by four new tracks, as follows:
- Between Two Points (Luck and Strange Album Demo)
- The Piper's Call (Luck and Strange Album Demo)
- Breathe (In The Air)/Time (Live from the Luck and Strange Tour Rehearsal)
- Dark and Velvet Nights (Live from the Luck and Strange Tour Rehearsal)
This is an online only exclusive at David's official store, and can be downloaded in WAV or MP3 formats. It also comes with a digital album booklet featuring exclusive, unseen photos from the London Royal Albert Hall shows.
You can order this - for a limited time only - from davidgilmour.lnk.to/CarpeDiem.
