WELCOME TO THE 26th YEAR OF BRAIN DAMAGE, YOUR PINK FLOYD, DAVID GILMOUR, NICK MASON, SYD BARRETT, RICHARD WRIGHT AND ROGER WATERS NEWS RESOURCE!
It's 2025! This year sees the 50th anniversary of Wish You Were Here, which is an incredible thought; where does the time go?!
The stunningly restored and remixed Pink Floyd At Pompeii MCMLXXII on Blu-ray, 2CD, 2LP, DVD, digital and cinema screenings are now here - with some more cinema screenings in selected places. However you experience it, it is NOT to be missed!
There's also been three Record Store Day releases released on April 12th, from David Gilmour, Nick Mason's Saucerful Of Secrets, and Roger Waters which are also definitely worth tracking down, either in a participating store, or online, now that RSD has finished.
Last year, David Gilmour's superb new album, Luck and Strange, was released in a variety of formats, and a selection of coloured vinyls. A limited number of concert dates thrilled crowds in Brighton and London, England, Rome, Italy, and Los Angeles and New York, USA. Rome shows were filmed for release at some point...watch this space!
The Nick Mason's Saucerful Of Secrets 2024 Set The Controls tour revealed a band in even better form than the 2022/23 shows which managed to exceed everyone's hopes and expectations! Our sincerest hopes are that they continue, but in the meantime, there's the RSD release, and the earlier live recording from London's Roundhouse on Blu-ray, DVD/2CD, and 2LP which is really excellent.
Of course, Roger Waters read three extracts from his memoirs in October 2023 at the London Palladium, so it might not be too long before that is published...he's also working on his new album based around The Bar - we'll let you know as soon as we get all the info! Before all that though is the release of Roger Waters This Is Not A Drill Live In Prague on 4LP vinyl, Blu-ray, DVD, 2CD and digital on August 1st!

[STORY UPDATED] The first few nights of the South American leg of the Roger Waters THIS IS NOT A DRILL tour have now been announced for the end of this year, and we suspect there will be many more shows added in that part of the world; below you will see the dates so far.
The current run of the show is presented "live in the round" - a departure from Roger's previous shows - and from seeing seating plans already appearing on ticketing sites, it is clear that there will be different staging for this stadium show due to the practicalities of the locations involved. It should see a more standard presentation of the show, with a stage at one end of the venue.
The production has already been seen in the US and Canada in the latter part of 2022, and Europe in early to mid 2023, showcasing both the new visuals, and the new set list. More details of that can be found in the show pages for concerts which have already taken place on Roger's 2022 and 2023 tour - but don't go there if you don't want to have any surprises spoilt!

For the Montevideo show (November 17th), a presale for holders of BBVA credit cards was held from 11am on May 9th, through to 11am on May 11th, when the general sale started at 11:01am, through accesoya.com.uy.
Tickets for the Buenos Aires show (November 21st) went on sale first in an exclusive instance for Santander American Express customers, starting on Monday, May 8th at 10 am local time. This pre-sale was due to be open for 48 hours or until stock is exhausted, whichever comes first, and then it would lead to the general sale. They sold out fully in an hour and a half, so a second and final additional show for Buenos Aires has been added for November 22nd, and tickets are now on sale. The only official sales site is AllAccess.
The pre-sale for the show in Santiago (November 25th) will have a 20% discount during the presale. It began on Tuesday, May 9th at 11am and was exclusive to Entel customers or those paying with Scotia Cards or affiliates of Caja Los Héroes. The general sale started on Thursday, May 11th at 11:01am, through www.ticketmaster.cl. These sold out hence the addition of a concert the following day, which is now on sale through the same link.
For the newly announced Lima, Peru, show (November 29th), here looks to be a presale for Interbank customers on May 22nd, with the general sale of tickets starting on May 23rd at 9am local time, through rogerwaters.joinnus.com. Using our direct links for any of these shows may also help toward the ongoing running costs of this site, and is appreciated!
