 The instrument most closely associated with Roger Waters, both in his time with Pink Floyd, and his subsequent solo career, is the black Fender Precision bass guitar. Now you have the opportunity to own this yourself - not a replica model, but one plucked from Roger's own instrument collection!
The rather-desirable instrument has been put up for auction through CharityBuzz.com, who recently sold a guitar hand-painted by Ian Emes and signed by Roger along with Nick Mason and David Gilmour, that realised $26,000. This time, the charity to benefit from the eventual winner's generosity is Millennnium Promise, the leading international non-profit organization solely committed to supporting the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals to halve extreme poverty by 2015.
