Brain Damage and A Fleeting Glimpse

Pink Floyd 1987WELCOME TO THE 26th YEAR OF BRAIN DAMAGE, YOUR PINK FLOYD, DAVID GILMOUR, NICK MASON, SYD BARRETT, RICHARD WRIGHT AND ROGER WATERS NEWS RESOURCE!

It's 2025! This year sees the 50th anniversary of Wish You Were Here, which is an incredible thought; where does the time go?!

We now know that Pink Floyd At Pompeii MCMLXXII on Blu-ray, 2CD, 2LP, DVD, digital and cinema screenings are on their way, with the releases on May 2nd, and the cinema screenings shortly before. NOT to be missed!

There's also been three Record Store Day releases released on April 12th, from David Gilmour, Nick Mason's Saucerful Of Secrets, and Roger Waters which are also definitely worth tracking down, either in a participating store, or online, now that RSD has finished.

Last year, David Gilmour's superb new album, Luck and Strange, was released in a variety of formats, and a selection of coloured vinyls. A limited number of concert dates thrilled crowds in Brighton and London, England, Rome, Italy, and Los Angeles and New York, USA. Rome shows were filmed for release at some point...watch this space!

The Nick Mason's Saucerful Of Secrets 2024 Set The Controls tour revealed a band in even better form than the 2022/23 shows which managed to exceed everyone's hopes and expectations! Our sincerest hopes are that they continue, but in the meantime, there's the RSD release, and the earlier live recording from London's Roundhouse on Blu-ray, DVD/2CD, and 2LP which is really excellent.

Of course, Roger Waters read three extracts from his memoirs in October 2023 at the London Palladium, so it might not be too long before that is published...he's also working on his new album based around The Bar - we'll let you know as soon as we get all the info!

HOW TO HELP THE SITE: If you want to contribute anything - such as concert reviews, articles or pictures - we'd love to hear from you; please email us.

A sincere note of thanks to those who use our affiliate links to Ticketmaster.com, Ticketmaster.co.uk, Seetickets.com, Eventim UK, the various Amazon stores (as an Amazon Associate we earn commission from qualifying purchases); Apple Music; Zavvi.com; HMV.com; and to those kind souls who make a Paypal donation toward running costs.

With tickets for the announced and on-sale shows selling very strongly indeed - as expected - three more dates from Roger Waters' 2007 tour have just arrived from Roger's manager.

All three of the dates are for shows in Europe. Just to remind you, the dates we show on this site are the ONLY confirmed shows thus far for his 2007 tour; no other dates can be considered valid until Roger's manager releases them. At present, there are NO confirmed shows for North America, and we cannot enter into any correspondence about any rumoured or proposed shows anywhere in the world. Just as soon as we have additional dates - like now - we will let you know straight away!

Ticket scans for any of the onsale shows will be gratefully received at our normal email address!

More dates and details of Roger's 2007 tour to follow, as we get them. There are a number of other dates we have but these HAVEN'T been confirmed and until they are, we see little value in posting them here. We hope you agree...

Our thanks to Roger's management for their help, as always, and to those others who have also written with tour dates and information.
