The Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy charity, along with the Winston’s Wish Children’s Bereavement Charity, stand to benefit from an auction later this month.
Christie's are holding a rock music memorabilia sale on September 28th, which includes some of Pink Floyd's late manager, Steve O'Rourke's record company award presentation discs, given to him to commemorate the sales of the band's records. They have been offered for auction by Angie O'Rourke, with all money raised from the awards going to the two charities.
The auction starts at 2pm, at the South Kensington branch of Christies, at 85 Old Brompton Road. More details will be on their website - www.Christies.com - shortly. Our thanks to our friends over at Pink Floyd Management, as ever, for their help.
