pink floyd singles coverJust announced, the book "Pink Floyd On Forty-Five" should prove to be the definitive discography of Pink Floyd singles. Including over 600 commercially or promotionally released 7inches, as well as a selection of test pressings and acetates, the book is complete with cover shots, release notes and other details.

With the help of the world's foremost Pink Floyd singles collectors (including Brain Damage's good friend Hervé Denoyelle), Charles Beterams has compiled a reference work that should be as fascinating, and as visually enthralling, as his previous, highly acclaimed book, "Pink Floyd in De Polder" which he co-wrote with Robert Haagsma and published in 2007.

Pink Floyd's history on 7inch is presented in all its full-colour glory, with well over 1200 pictures. "Pink Floyd On Forty-Five" will be out on November 1st, 2008, and will be published in the Netherlands by Aprilis.

"Pink Floyd On Forty-Five" will be out as an English language high quality 200+ page bound hard back 9x9inch size book. The first 1000 copies will be published as a special numbered edition with an exclusive 7inch of Hello (I Love You) by Roger Waters. This single will only be available with the book, and the special edition will be available exclusively from FloydStuff.com, the online Floyd store that Charles runs.

With nearly all the work done, they're still looking to tie up a final few loose ends. Please This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it if you can help with scans of the following 7inch singles:
- Apples And Oranges (Greece)
- Another Brick In The Wall (Jamaica)
- Point Me At The Sky (Pakistan)
- It Would Be So Nice (South Africa)
- Point Me At The Sky (Turkey)

We'll bring you more on this book as the publication date approaches.
