Tomorrow, November 15th, sees the official publication date of "The Black Strat: A History Of David Gilmour's Black Fender Stratocaster", written by Phil Taylor - David's equipment technician and studio manager. With a cover designed by Storm Thorgerson (click thumbnail to the right), and an incredible feast of rare pictures and info inside, it promises much for both the guitar aficionado, and the general Pink Floyd fan alike. Having chatted to Phil recently about this, the book sounds an essential purchase, and if you don't believe us, just take a look at the example pages over at the newly launched www.TheBlackStrat.com, which went live this evening!
Whilst Amazon stores are listing this truly Strat-tastic book, the limited edition tome can only be ordered directly from the special website and is now taking orders - so hurry to secure yours. Amazon won't be getting stocks, so don't bother placing an order with them... We'll be reviewing the book very shortly, so check back here soon!
