Nick Mason's 1935 UlsterNick Mason won his race at the Goodwood Revival Festival yesterday morning. He won the Brooklands Trophy in his red Aston Martin Ulster from 1935 [click thumbnail, right], which he said was the first car he raced in, some 35 years ago!

Holly Mason was seventh in the same race in another one of Nick's Aston Martin Ulsters from 1934. With the weather sunny and dry, conditions were perfect for the cars taking part, which also included vintage Morgans, Bugattis, Alfa Romeos and BMWs.

Nick also remarked on how he loved coming to Goodwood with his late father, Bill, seeing such cars as the Ferrari 250GTO which he now, of course, owns.
