Pink Floyd 1968WOW - it's now the 27th YEAR of Brain Damage, your Pink Floyd, David Gilmour, Nick Mason, Syd Barrett, Richard Wright and Roger Waters news resource!

Marking the 50th anniversary of Pink Floyd's iconic 1975 album, a range of Wish You Were Here 50 celebratory editions: deluxe box set, blu-ray, 3LP set, 2CD set and coloured vinyl single LPs came out at the end of last year. Full details here. The LA 1975 concert, recorded by Mike Millard and remastered by Steven Wilson, came out as a standalone item on 4LP for Record Store Day, and 2CD across most of the world.

The stunningly restored and remixed Pink Floyd At Pompeii MCMLXXII on Blu-ray, 2CD, 2LP, DVD, and digital was also released in 2025 - and is NOT to be missed. As is the 4K UltraHD edition out now!

Also last year, celebrating the concerts to coincide with David Gilmour's album, Luck and Strange, cinema/IMAX screenings, and a book, 2Blu-ray, 3DVD, 4LP, 2CD and deluxe box set options were also released and are getting very high praise.

The Nick Mason's Saucerful Of Secrets 2024 Set The Controls tour revealed a band in even better form than the 2022/23 shows which managed to exceed everyone's hopes and expectations! Our sincerest hopes are that they continue, but in the meantime, there's their RSD release, and the earlier live recording from London's Roundhouse on Blu-ray, DVD/2CD, and 2LP which is really excellent.

Of course, Roger Waters read three extracts from his memoirs in October 2023 at the London Palladium, so it might not be too much longer before that is published...he's also working on his new album based around The Bar - we'll let you know as soon as we get all the info! Before all that though is the release of Roger Waters This Is Not A Drill Live In Prague on 4LP vinyl, Blu-ray, DVD, 2CD and digital which is out now.

Nick Mason - Inside Out book signings update Print E-mail
Written by Matt

Nick Mason's book "Inside Out - A Personal History Of Pink Floyd" is now on sale in the UK, Canada, and a few other countries, is a truly essential purchase - and we have an update for you of upcoming signing events.

We've had a load of emails from people who attended the book signings so far; Nick has spent quite some time travelling up and down the country, to be at the different bookshops. Everyone we have heard from has had a great time, and has been knocked out at Nick's generosity and good humour at the events. Indeed, the hour-long question and answer session in Bournemouth (arranged without Nick's prior knowledge!) was one of the highlights so far. The signing events have already proved very popular - so if you intend seeing him on one of the following dates, please be early! Here's the current list of where to catch Nick:

Monday December 13th - 6:00pm - Ottakar's, Rose Lane, Canterbury, Kent
Tuesday December 14th - 12:30pm - Ottakar's, Lion & Lamb Yard, Farnham, Surrey

The eagle-eyed amongst you will spot that the venues below have swapped over - this is due to a typo on the information we received. Thankfully the error on the original was spotted, and we have been able to let you know these revisions. Our thanks to Elizabeth at the publishers for letting us know so quickly.

If you are intending to go to a signing session, please confirm times with the stores before setting out, as they are subject to last minute change. There are likely to be other signing sessions and as we get information on this, we will let you know.

Ottaker's Bookshops are also running an on-line competition relating to the book, offering goodies signed by Nick Mason in their Pink Floyd competition which runs until December 19th. Enter it to try and win a copy of Inside Out, a box set of Echoes on vinyl and Pink Floyd Live at Pompeii on DVD, all signed by Nick Mason.

BOOK ORDERS
Signed and dedicated books are still being offered to UK fans, using the order form found in our side menu bar, but be aware that this is a time limited offer so get your orders in now if you want to guarantee your copy. The books are priced at £30 plus shipping, and for those of you who have asked the question, it is DEFINITELY Nick that is signing these!

Alternatively, Amazon are promoting the book heavily on their website, at time of writing offering a huge 40% discount on the book with free shipping, in some countries!
