WOW - it's now the 27th YEAR of Brain Damage, your Pink Floyd, David Gilmour, Nick Mason, Syd Barrett, Richard Wright and Roger Waters news resource!
Marking the 50th anniversary of Pink Floyd's iconic 1975 album, a range of Wish You Were Here 50 celebratory editions: deluxe box set, blu-ray, 3LP set, 2CD set and coloured vinyl single LPs came out at the end of last year. Full details here. The LA 1975 concert, recorded by Mike Millard and remastered by Steven Wilson, came out as a standalone item on 4LP for Record Store Day, and 2CD across most of the world.
The stunningly restored and remixed Pink Floyd At Pompeii MCMLXXII on Blu-ray, 2CD, 2LP, DVD, and digital was also released in 2025 - and is NOT to be missed. As is the 4K UltraHD edition out now!
Also last year, celebrating the concerts to coincide with David Gilmour's album, Luck and Strange, cinema/IMAX screenings, and a book, 2Blu-ray, 3DVD, 4LP, 2CD and deluxe box set options were also released and are getting very high praise.
The Nick Mason's Saucerful Of Secrets 2024 Set The Controls tour revealed a band in even better form than the 2022/23 shows which managed to exceed everyone's hopes and expectations! Our sincerest hopes are that they continue, but in the meantime, there's their RSD release, and the earlier live recording from London's Roundhouse on Blu-ray, DVD/2CD, and 2LP which is really excellent.
Of course, Roger Waters read three extracts from his memoirs in October 2023 at the London Palladium, so it might not be too much longer before that is published...he's also working on his new album based around The Bar - we'll let you know as soon as we get all the info! Before all that though is the release of Roger Waters This Is Not A Drill Live In Prague on 4LP vinyl, Blu-ray, DVD, 2CD and digital which is out now.

Our friends over at Genesis Publications have been in contact today with an important update on the forthcoming special edition of Nick Mason's "Inside Out: A Personal History Of Pink Floyd".
As we reported back on 9th February, 8th April, and most recently on 12th July, Genesis, the specialist book publishers, have collaborated with Nick Mason, producing a very special limited edition of his book.
They have taken 500 of the First Edition of the book, re-bound them in leather, got them signed by Nick and included in a 'box of delights' designed and assembled by Storm Thorgerson, who will also sign this unique limited edition box set. Only 500 sets will be made, and work is currently being finished on the sets.
They have emailed us with the news that only a handful of copies are left unreserved - so if you want to get your hands on one of these, you need to act very quickly. They are now priced at £750 plus shipping. The limited editions of books created by Genesis tend to rise dramatically in value - two separate copies of the deluxe edition of Mick Rock's Psychedelic Renegades (his picture archive of Syd Barrett), originally sold for £495, have been sold on eBay recently, for around £2,400 each!
Each strong presentation box is handmade in buckram to a design specification which securely holds in place all the fascinating elements of this unique collectors' edition. An image created by Storm Thorgerson is set into the front above a silver foiled logo. The spine lettering is also in silver foil. Here's what you'll find inside:
- A full leather bound numbered and signed copy of Nick's book "Inside Out, a personal history of Pink Floyd". Each copy is hand bound, and has a new cover image created especially for this limited edition. Page edges are silver foiled and there is silver tooling on the spine and front.
- A 3,500 word monograph booklet - Nick describes with considerable wit his new experiences as a successful author. He writes about the rest of the band's reaction to the book but the real humour comes from his recollections of his book-promotional activities in various countries. This is printed on acid-free heavy cartridge stock.
- Two fine art prints, size 20' x 15'. They are both created and signed and numbered by Storm Thorgerson. Each one is silk-screened in 27 colours on Somerset tub sized 410gsm paper, by Coriander Studios. Each is a superb collector's item in its own right.
- Nick has coughed up 500 assorted Pink Floyd backstage passes from his personal collection - there are at least 7 different kinds of backstage pass. One pass to each box.
- An exclusive t-shirt, created by Storm.
- A woolly hat with 'Hi' logo. So, it's a hi hat. Storm's idea of course. Warm in winter but like the T-shirt, you probably won't want to take it out of the box.
- A pair of American hickory drumsticks prepared for Nick Mason especially for this edition by Pro-Mark. Also a drum key with lanyard and Paiste cymbal badge/tiepin.
- A unique Polaroid print. They've taken 500 different shots of Nick at work on the project. So the Polaroid in your box is unique to your boxed set.
- Finally, to ensure there's no spare space, there's a set of 12 postcards in a hard cover wallet, depicting the band in various incarnations, together with more imagery including alternative versions from Storm.
Orders, with full details of what the box set includes, can be placed at www.Genesis-Publications.com. Installment plans are available by contacting

Do it today, before it's too late - once all 500 are reserved, that's it!
