With the reunion of Pink Floyd and Roger Waters at the London Live 8 concert just two days away, we've had some more international TV broadcast details, and also bring you ticket updates and general information about the practicalities of the Hyde Park show.

The additional 55,000 tickets, given away yesterday at selected UK outlets for the viewing screen area in Hyde Park, were all claimed in under two hours. People queued overnight to be at the head of the queues, even though the tickets give no view of the stage (being the other side of the Serpentine Lake).

Last night, Nick Mason was at the annual Tatler Magazine summer party. On being asked about the show, Nick said: "I'm not feeling too nervous. Hopefully we'll be able to remember most of the words!"

The Daily Telegraph newspaper today prints a look at the Floyd reunion, including an interview with Nick. On their rehearsals, which only started this week: "It's sort of assumed that we'll all remember how they go..."

He talks of how Bob Geldof brokered the deal to get the band back together, noting that Geldof had been "fabulously persuasive" and talks of how his relationship with Waters had been crucial. "Roger and Bob have enormous respect for each other; the two of them together are a bit like Hitler and Stalin with a better sense of humour, and in Bob's case, worse hair."

On a separate note, we've had many emails from people worldwide eager to know when Pink Floyd are hitting the stage and the order that the artists will be appearing during the London Live 8 concert. We were in contact with the organisers yesterday afternoon for an update, but they told us that the band order and times is still being worked out. However, they said that we can safely assume that the Floyd will be near the end of the show!

LIVE 8 - HYDE PARK - PRACTICAL DETAILS
The show is now scheduled to run from 2pm through to 9:30pm, following an extension to the show this week, at Hyde Park in central London. This should give artists a little more time for their performances.

The stage itself is 280 foot wide and 50 foot deep. It has a revolving central section so that the next act can set up, while the current band are playing - just like Live Aid, 20 years ago. The £500,000 stage will take a 300-strong construction crew 32 hours to build and a further 100 people to operate it.

The venue has eleven large video screens spaced through the audience, so that even those at the rear should be able to see the concert.

The organisers have just announced that the show will be strictly alcohol-free; water and soft drinks will be sold, and the 205,000 ticket holders are being warned not to bring any cans or bottles with alcohol in, to the venue. There will be the normal refreshment and food outlets, along with toilet facilities, laid on for the 150,000 main venue attendees, and also for the 55,000 screen viewers by the Serpentine.

ENTRANCE to the main venue is from Lancaster Gate, at the north-west corner of the park, which leads along to the main arena entrance by Speakers' Corner. Gold Circle ticket holders have a separate entrance at Hyde Park Corner. There is NO access to the main venue from Hyde Park Corner, which is a good two- to three- kilometre walk away from the main entrance. Non-ticket holders are being advised to avoid the general area altogether.

Weather forecasts currently suggest the day will begin with light showers in the early hours, with intermittent sunshine, and cloud clearing in the afternoon. A high temperature of 21°C is expected.
