A fascinating and thought-provoking article appeared in the UK Sunday Express newspaper on September 7th, setting out the inspiration David Gilmour had for selling his London home and giving the proceeds to Crisis, the homelessness charity. Esther Samson, mother of his wife Polly, was the subject of the article. She experienced homelessness first-hand, and her story - set on the streets of London and China - is an absorbing one. It can be seen at www.Express.co.uk.
