The UK newspaper, the Daily Express, included a nice picture of David Gilmour and wife Polly Samson last week at a book launch in London, on the eve of his 58th birthday (not 60th, as the Express quoted!). They asked him for his reaction at "finding himself back in the charts" - in reality, the Scissor Sisters in the top ten with their version of Comfortably Numb.

"My publisher says I gave my permission a year ago." So does he like it? "Well, I don't dislike it," smiled David. The Express then went on to say that 'obviously Dave, who recently donated the £3.6million proceeds of his house to homeless charity Crisis, didn't like it quite enough to rush out and buy a copy.' "My publisher sent me a free one," he added with a grin...
