A bit of advance notice for you that David Gilmour is the cover artist for the January 2009 issue of Guitar Player Magazine. In addition to David's in-depth comments regarding his playing, there is a lengthy sidebar by Phil Taylor about the second edition of his excellent Black Strat book, the Fender Custom Shop David Gilmour Black Strats, and other gear-related tidbits, as well as a complete list of the gear David used on the 2006 tour.
There are also outtakes from the interview, in which David discusses the 2006 tour, his new album, his creative process, etc., posted on the www.GuitarPlayer.com web site. The magazine itself is sold across the US and Canada, and in selected countries worldwide as an import.
