A poll for UK station Virgin Radio has named Queen's "A Night At The Opera" as the ultimate album as voted for by the listeners to the station. Thousands of votes were cast, based on DJ Daryl Denham's shortlist of "albums you really should own". The Beach Boys "Pet Sounds" was second, and "Dark Side Of The Moon" came ninth, beating the highest placing of a Beatles album ("Revolver" at number nine). Somewhat surprisingly, no other Floyd album appeared in the top fifty.
