Incredibly, as we've only just entered June, it seems that it's time of year again...now available to buy is the Official Pink Floyd 2026 Calendar! As before, it covers sixteen months, running from September 2025 through to December 2026.
It's a perennial Floyd fan favourite - particularly as a gift at Christmas time. An item which has been produced for many years now, and designed for use hanging on walls, the standardised format is roughly the same size as a vinyl album - roughly 12" (or 30cm) square, with the calendar opening up to have a double page spread per month.
The calendar this year is a celebration of the band's post 1987 period, via various images, record sleeves, and suchlike.
The calendar each year is often squirrelled away as a collectable for the years to come, and earlier examples are now quite sought after.

Just announced is the long-awaited release of Roger Waters This Is Not A Drill Live In Prague, which had a live cinema broadcast around the world on May 25th, 2023.
With the production captured by multiple cameras, it was an easy guess that it would receive a home release at some point, and that is coming on August 1st, 2025, when it will be available to buy in a special 4LP vinyl package, on a double CD, on Blu-ray and on DVD. It will also be available via the normal digital services too.
To mark the release, there will be another chance to relive the Prague performance in cinemas, as Trafalgar is extending the cinematic experience with additional dates. For information and tickets - which go on sale on June 12th - visit RogerWaters.film or participating cinemas.

For our magazine aficionados out there - and we know a good number of you collect this branch of printed media if there's any mentions of Pink Floyd - there's a couple of magazines currently on sale in Germany which may be of interest to you.
The first of these is the May 2025, 130 page edition of the suitably titled Eclipsed. It includes a multiple page look at the new Live at Pompeii release, with plenty of information and pictures. Elsewhere in the magazine there's a large feature on the 40th anniversary of Dire Straits's Brothers In Arms. You can order this online through Eclipsed.de.
The other May 2025 issue of interest is the German edition of Classic Rock. We suspect much of it is a straight translation from the UK edition which appeared at the end of March/start of April. In that, they looked back at the making of Pink Floyd Live At Pompeii, with recollections from drummer Nick Mason, director Adrian Maben and more. The German edition can be ordered from ClassicRock.net.
Our very best wishes go to Gerald Scarfe today as he celebrates his 89th birthday. Gerald, of course, is a graphic artist with a long history with the Floyd, from the 1974 tour programme caricature, through to his most famous work on The Wall, and beyond that, working with Roger Waters on his Pros and Cons project. As ever, many happy returns to Gerald on this very special day from all of us here at Brain Damage.
For those who haven't seen it, Gerald's superb The Art Of Pink Floyd The Wall is REALLY worth checking out if you are interested in his work on the project, which spanned the album, concerts and film.
It is a beautiful, 288-page hardback book, in landscape format housed within a cardboard sleeve that reveals a huge amount of rare and previously unseen sketches, paintings and more, created by Gerald Scarfe principally for The Wall project, but also includes earlier materials, for Wish You Were Here and Animals, for example. It is an expensive book, but the work involved bringing together the breadth of material within, and the quality of its presentation, help to justify the price tag - and it is completely different to any previous books on Scarfe's artwork for the Floyd.
However much you think you know The Wall, and Scarfe's artwork for it (and earlier Pink Floyd projects), this book will reveal far more than you could imagine. One wonders if there was anything left in his archive that wasn't included? It's superb to see so many early sketches and ideas sitting alongside finished designs and images.
This is a truly incredible book that will appeal equally to Pink Floyd fans, to Scarfe enthusiasts, and to those interested in production design for film and concert stage.
As a special exclusive treat, Gerald had this video shot especially for us here at Brain Damage, so you get a feel for what the book includes, and the format it comes in. Thanks Gerald, and hope you have a great birthday!
Just announced is the great news that the digital versions of Nick Mason's Saucerful Of Secrets superb live recording of Echoes, which was released as part of this year's Record Store Day, are being released on Thursday, May 22nd. The performance was mixed by Steven Wilson, and for those who weren't able to get hold of the RSD release - or who have nothing to play it on - it is excellent news that all the normal digital music services should have it, including as a Dolby Atmos mix!
As an additional treat, check back here to Brain Damage as we have an exclusive interview on its way too...
