The South American leg of Roger's new tour - THIS IS NOT A DRILL - has now been announced, and is a new production. The show has been presented "live in the round" - a departure from Roger's previous shows - so far on the tour, although for the South American shows this is unlikely and the seating plans indicate a normal stage setup. The production has already been seen in the US and Canada in the latter part of 2022, and Europe in early to mid 2023, showcasing both the new visuals, and the new set list. More details of that can be found in the show pages for concerts which have already taken place on Roger's 2022 and 2023 tour - but don't go there if you don't want to have any surprises spoilt!

Those who have attended - or have seen pictures/video of - Roger's previous tours, will know just how spectacular and moving this new production is likely to be, and how it is a show you really shouldn't miss! From comments Roger has made in recent interviews, it could be his final tour...

WARNING - SPOILERS AHEAD!

Do not read on if you don't want surprises to be spoilt, regarding what the band played!

Night forty-one of the 2023 This Is Not A Drill tour for Roger Waters, his band, and crew, who were resuming the gigs with this first night in Brasilia, as they travel around the Americas with these remaining shows.

The previous show of the tour - in Manchester, England, in June - was the final outing of the "in the round" staging, so the crowd were keen to see how the show would alter for these stadium shows. There's now a much more traditional screen on stage - albeit pretty huge - along with some other bits and pieces to keep the fans entertained.

The following video will reveal a major change to the second half - not in terms of setlist as that was unchanged from the previous leg of the tour - but in terms of presentation. In the run-up to In The Flesh, the screen built up bricks until pretty much finished - then the crossed hammers appeared on screen and via long flags cascading down.

Then, as you'll see, the pig appears, with a brick pattern all over, with the slogan "HE'S MAD - DON'T LISTEN" on the side of it in a gap in the bricks. As the pig begins its flight, Roger is brought onstage in a wheelchair, wearing a straitjacket!

Other than that, we know the setlist remained the same, but don't know of any other changes or interesting new elements in this new version of the show.

Initial reports from the fan community are that the show was as expected from last year's experiences of Roger's latest production, but as always, we value your first hand views on all the concerts - so if you went, please let us know your thoughts!

YOUR HELP NEEDED! We want to cover Roger's concerts the best we can, to share the experience with everyone, especially those who won't be able to attend the shows. We'd love to see ANY pictures, tickets scans, reviews, newspaper reports, and anything else you come across for this show - we look forward to hearing from you!
