COMMENTS

Roger's tour of The Wall arrives in Copenhagen for a show at Parken, which he last performed The Wall at in 2011.

The RogerWaters.com presales have begun, with advance tickets available to those who had registered their interest in particular cities. General sale tickets are on sale through LiveNation.dk. The public sale will also see a limited number of VIP packages made available for each show on the tour. Our thanks to Hendrik for the ticket scan shown to the right.

As with the other venues on the tour, excitement is growing in Copenhagen for the show, although as with most venues, there are still a few tickets left. On that note... many thanks to Flemming Clausen for sending in the following photos. They show a giant poster advertising Roger's upcoming concert, displayed at the City Square in Copenhagen. It is about 12 meters x 3 meters and looks great...certainly very eyecatching:

WARNING - SPOILERS AHEAD!

Do not read on if you don't want surprises to be spoilt, regarding what the band played, and what happened as the night unfolded!

The Danish audience gave - as expected - a very warm reception to Roger and his band, with this, the tenth night of the 2013 tour. This was, overall, the 202nd public Wall performance since the production started back in 2010, yet the band sound ever fresher and the performances at the moment seem uniformly excellent. In three days time, Oslo get the first of two nights, but before then, Roger nips off early to Gothenburg (who are getting The Wall on the 17th) to do the narration for his opera, Ca Ira.

If you went to this show in Copenhagen, please let us know what you thought of the event, and if anything interesting or different happened if you've been to previous shows and can compare.

CONCERT REVIEW and PICTURES by BD CONTRIBUTOR, Johnny Petersen

That was what we expected and wanted to see. Roger Waters in tip-top shape in a spectacular show. The wall was all 148 meters wide and seemed astronomic, and the sound surrounded all 40,000 of us. Awesome.

Dave Kilminster blew us apart in the guitar solo on Comfortably Numb, and then Roger after all these years finally shot us all, and of course there was the pig! Smile No one over and no one beside.
