odense location chartOur thanks to Jesper Nielsen for sending in a scan of the Billetnet version of the ticket, which is shown to the right. Below that is the much more colourful Danbillet version which Jens Libach kindly sent in, along with the concert poster also to the right, and the ticket location chart which can be seen in full by clicking the thumbnail to the left of this. It should help you make an informed decision whereabouts in the stadium to get tickets for, for this concert.  BOTH types of ticket are valid, and it is normal for different official ticket agents to have different designs for the same event.

As at January 8th, it was reported in the Danish press that only half of the tickets had been sold, leaving 11,000 still available to fans.

As an introduction to Roger Waters’ visit to Denmark, the island's biggest daily newspaper, Fyns Stiftstidende, has an article on Dark Side Of The Moon. The article (a two page spread in the printed version of the paper) itself is based on an interview with Thomas Ulrik Larsen from the Pink Floyd Project, and discusses the album’s content, the way ideas and performance connect, the non-ideological messages and how the vibe of the album differs from modern music. Journalist Simon Staun adds a song by song guide along with a set list and some Floyd trivia. Click here to see the online version.

Do not read on if you don't want surprises to be spoilt, regarding what the band played!

And so to Denmark. Roger's 2008 Dark Side Of The Moon tour hits Scandinavia to a delighted audience. With nice weather, the crowd were apparently well into the show, which seemed to please Roger and the rest of the band!

A press report of the concert in Ekstra Bladet gives the show a very reasonable four stars out of a possible maximum of six. Click here to see their review (in Danish) and to see the great picture of Roger! (Thanks, Jesper)

A day's break, before the first of the three shows on UK soil. If you are going, have a great time, and let us know how it went!

CONCERT REVIEW by BD CONTRIBUTOR, Jesper Nielsen

Just got back from the concert in Odense (Denmark). The show was great, Roger seems very happy and the band was playing very well. The setlist was the same as elsewhere. I got VIP tickets and the view was great most of the time.

The only letdowns I got, the guitar play in Wish You Were Here was a little disappointing. The sound level in the end was too high, a few times I actually put a finger into my ear...

But, it ROCKS.. I hope I see them again and I hope we soon will be getting Blu Ray version of the Dark Side tour.

YOUR HELP NEEDED! We want to cover Roger's concerts the best we can, to share the experience with everyone, especially those who won't be able to attend the shows. We'd love to see ANY pictures, reviews, newspaper reports, and anything else you come across for this show - we look forward to hearing from you!
