Wednesday night promised a double treat. In all the local press, previews for the Sam Brown concert that night (April 9th) at Brighton's Concorde 2 stated that it was set to feature David Gilmour on guitar.
Sadly, on the night, David was nowhere to be seen, and Sam seemed a little surprised that people were expecting him to appear. Presumably her publicity or booking agent put something in a press release issued to the local newspapers, to the effect that David would appear! Despite the disappointment of David's no-show, the evening was very enjoyable, with Sam playing a solo show of around 90 minutes...
