Roger Waters headlining Glastonbury Festival Print E-mail
Written by Matt
Saturday, 22 June 2002

Rod Stewart, headline act on the Pyramid Stage (main stage) on the final night of the Glastonbury Festival (Sunday June 30th), is looking doubtful now due to being struck with a throat infection. He has already had to cancel a show in Dublin, and his appearance at Glastonbury hangs in the balance of how he feels, and what his doctors advise. It would therefore make sense, if he was not to show, to get Roger to increase the length of his set. Having said that, many festivals have issues keeping to time, so Rod's non-appearance (if that is indeed what happens) might just mean the final night finishes on time and the local authorities are kept happy...

UPDATE: this has now been confirmed.
