Roger Waters at Glastonbury - confirmed Print E-mail
Written by Matt
Friday, 19 April 2002

Following our advance warning (including our chat with Norbert Stachel in February where the question of the potential set list was raised), we have had official confirmation from Roger's management that Mr Waters is DEFINITELY headlining the Sunday night of the Glastonbury Festival, on the Pyramid Stage.

Tickets are nearly sold out/completely sold out (depending on who you approach) and there will definitely not be any on the gates. If you've not bought a weekend ticket (£97.00 plus £3.00 booking fee) you won't get in. However, past festivals have been widely broadcast on television and radio.

It is currently believed that he is still scheduled for a one-hour slot. As Michael Eavis, who owns the farm that the festival is held on, is a big fan of Pink Floyd (and indeed was telling all and sundry that they were who he'd booked!) don't necessarily expect too much solo stuff...
