Pink Floyd The Wall book - update Print E-mail
Written by Matt
Friday, 23 January 2004

Last year it was announced that Richard Mahon and Vernon Fitch, author of Pink Floyd: The Press Reports and The Pink Floyd Encyclopedia, were publishing a book about The Wall. Many of you have written asking about this - especially as we were poised to run a competition to give away copies of the book! Unfortunately, due to certain difficulties, the book as originally planned is not now being published.

However, the publishers that were to bring out Richard and Vernon's book, Reynolds & Hearn, have decided to carry on with the project, and have now revealed a number of details to Brain Damage.

To the right is the proposed front cover and spine of the book, which looks to be changing again - watch this space; as soon as we have the final version that will appear in the shops, we will share it with you. The book has been written by Jeff Bench and Daniel O'Brien. Daniel is a film and media journalist, and Jeff is a design and media historian, who has lectured at most of London's leading art colleges.

The book will be covering all aspects of The Wall - from stage show to film, the recording, and much more... More details of this book to follow!
