New "Best of" Pink Floyd tribute album Print E-mail
Written by Matt
Wednesday, 04 February 2004

Just released in the US, and available as an import elsewhere, is another tribute CD - this one is a bit of a "best of", and called "The World's Greatest Pink Floyd Tribute" - a modest claim!

It is a collection of previously issued material, from the likes of Dweezil Zappa, Chris Squire, and Nik Turner, and is an eclectic mix of techno/electronica covers amidst the straight rock readings of the tracks, which includes Run Like Hell, Set The Controls, ABITW 2, Learning To Fly, Shine On, Mother and One Of These Days...

Most Amazon sites (with the exception of the US site) have excerpts of the tracks that you can listen to. Our thanks to Ben Dobie for taking the time to let us know about this and the news story above.
