Those in the San Francisco area tomorrow night (Thursday, November 1st) should head for The Booksmith which is holding a talk, slide show and book signing by Mick Rock. The event, at 7pm, ties in with the launch of his book "Psychedelic Renegades", an affordable version of his stunning collection of Syd Barrett photographs.
A friend of Syd's for many years, Mick's photos reveal a relaxed, playful Barrett "off-duty", alongside a number of more formal portraits for things like album covers.
