With the frantic activity over the last year or so, we're taking a much needed, very short break, so please don't expect many updates on the site over the next week. In the meantime our sister site A Fleeting Glimpse will keep you up to date.
We couldn't go without reminding you about the unmissable, upcoming hour-long Piper special on
Planet Rock radio, which has Guy Pratt in conversation with Richard Wright about the making of the album, the special edition of which is released on September 3rd (Europe)/4th (USA/Canada), going through it track-by-track.
The show airs on August 27th, at 5pm BST, and Richard reveals some fascinating stuff on how Syd wrote songs, the reaction of EMI, and how the Beatles kept sneaking in to their sessions.
