With yet another show added today, and the likelihood of a US tour in the Autumn, Roger Waters is making 2006 a busy year! The show added is part of the Hyde Park Calling festival being held in London, on July 1st and 2nd, with Roger headlining the first day.

Hyde Park, London
He will be performing Pink Floyd's 1973 classic "Dark Side Of The Moon" in its entirety as part of his set. This will be Roger's only British performance, with the Cork show in Ireland on June 29th being the next nearest show. The Who are headlining the second night of the festival, showcasing a new album from them, the first for some 24 years.

Hyde Park Calling, sponsored by the Hard Rock Cafe, promises to be an interesting event, with a main stage, second stage and "many surprises in store for music and festival fans of all ages". Texas have been named as support for Roger, and other acts are expected to be confirmed soon.

Roger Waters said about the show: "I really enjoyed playing Live 8 last year, so appearing at Hyde Park Calling will be great".

Individual day tickets and weekend tickets will be available, at £42.50 per day or £80 for the whole weekend (plus booking fees).

The presale of tickets started today (8th March) for those who register with TicketRush.co.uk, and the general sale of tickets starts at 9am on Friday, 10th March, through TicketRush.co.uk, Ticketmaster.co.uk, and www.getLIVE.co.uk.
