On Wednesday (July 12th), Roger Waters and his band play at the Piazza Napoleone, in Lucca, Italy. Joining them for the performance of Pink Floyd's Dark Side Of The Moon is Nick Mason, reprising his role on drums on the album.
The show is part of the Lucca Summer Festival, and one of the supporters of the festival is Italian RAI radio. The good news is that RAI's Radio1 will be broadcasting the show live in its entirety, and thanks to a live stream on www.radio.rai.it/radio1 (click on "Ascolta Live" in the top right hand corner), Roger's fans worldwide will be able to tune in to the show! On a similar note, it was previously announced that a couple of Belgian radio stations would be airing Roger's show at Magny-Cours, France on Friday night. Roger's manager has confirmed that this is NOT the case, and that NO radio or TV station will be airing the show live. Obviously, if this situation changes (and rumours are rife!) we will let you know. Thanks to our friends Sara, and Nino Gatti (www.pinkfloydiani.it), for the information about the Lucca broadcast. |
