Two new specialist UK guitar magazines have just published their new issues, and as you can see from the cover images shown here, should hold definite interest to Pink Floyd and David Gilmour fans.

The first of these is the more general Guitarist, which arrived on UK shelves on April 4th, and is issue 497 (cover date May 2023). In their synopsis of the magazine, they note that "Pink Floyd’s classic masterpiece The Dark Side Of The Moon celebrates its 50th anniversary this year, so take the journey with us as we examine the gear that David Gilmour used to play Dark Side live on stage both in the early to mid-70s and for its surprise revival on tour in 1994." The cover shows a collection of relevant images, along with the tagline of "The Inside Story Of A Masterpiece".

They also take a look at the guitars John Frusciante uses live with The Chili Peppers, the new ’58 Korina Flying V and Explorer models from Epiphone and a peek inside the Furch guitar workshop.

You can buy the magazine online, with worldwide shipping, through this direct link to the publishers, or in selected UK stores.

The second of these is the more specialist Guitar Techniques, published in the UK on April 5th, and is issue 347 (cover date also May 2023). They suggest with the help of their videos, you can "learn to play like David Gilmour" (a bold claim!) with five pieces detailed that "celebrate his rhythm, lead, slide and acoustic playing". The magazine promises "a comprehensive look at the Pink Floyd guitarist's emotive styles". Elsewhere in the magazine, there are various technique tutorials from slide to classical.
