Roger's Us + Them tour heads into South America following the successful 2017 shows in the US and Canada, and the 2018 shows in Europe, Australia and New Zealand. At the original announcement of the tour, the following was revealed:

"We are going to take a new show on the road, the content is very secret," said Roger Waters. "It'll be a mixture of stuff from my long career, stuff from my years with Pink Floyd, some new things. Probably 75% of it will be old material and 25% will be new, but it will be all connected by a general theme. It will be a cool show, I promise you. It'll be spectacular like all my shows have been.”

The announcement notes that "Roger Waters' legendary live performances are renowned as immersive sensory experiences featuring high class, state-of-the-art audio visual production and breathtaking quad sound. This new tour promises to be no exception; following months of meticulous planning and visionary craft, US + Them will inspire crowds with its powerful delivery and take the audience on an unforgettable musical journey."

Those who have attended - or have seen pictures/video of - the US and Canadian shows, will know just how spectacular and moving this new production is, and how it is a show you really shouldn't miss!

WARNING - SPOILERS AHEAD!

Do not read on if you don't want surprises to be spoilt, regarding what the band played!

Well, Roger always has that knack of springing surprises from time to time (who would have expected his narration on The Soldier's Tale to be released on vinyl and CD?!) and last night's show in Salvador was no exception.

The penultimate song(s) in the set has changed from time to time, with early shows having Vera/Bring The Boys Back Home. More normally, it now tends to be Mother, with other variants at times. However, last night in Salvador, played live for the first time ever, was Two Suns In The Sunset from Pink Floyd's 1983 album, The Final Cut! And it sounded great too...

First, here's the video from the show from Roger's official Facebook page…

We'd love to know from those attending how they felt the concert went. How was the show for you, if you were one of the fortunate ones to attend? Let us know what YOU thought!

CONCERT REVIEW by BD CONTRIBUTOR, Bruno CF

One night only, date 17-10-2018, another amazing show in Brazilian territory.

Now, for the first time, Roger and the band played in Salvador, Bahia, on Arena Fonte Nova, the only concert on the northeast leg of the Brazilian tour.

Roger avoided any political messages, however, the ideological fighting based on political supporters is still present in some points. The word 'Resist' at the intermission and other lines alerting about neo facism rising, was enough to start a screaming fight between the crowd. Roger mentioned Master Moa of Katendê in a speech before the last song, and it was clear that he became a little emotional at that moment. Moa do Katendê was an activist who was killed during a fight started after a political discussion.

The major surprise happened in the encore set. Roger replaced the song 'Mother' for 'Two Suns in the Sunset', played for the first time ever in a concert since it was released on the Final Cut album.

YOUR HELP NEEDED! We want to cover Roger's concerts the best we can, to share the experience with everyone, especially those who won't be able to attend the shows. We'd love to see ANY pictures, tickets scans, reviews, newspaper reports, and anything else you come across for this show - we look forward to hearing from you!
