Pink Floyd - Meddle 180 gram heavyweight vinyl release 2016
Pink Floyd - Obscured By Clouds 180 gram heavyweight vinyl release 2016

Announced today, one week after the news that Pink Floyd's The Wall and The Division Bell are being re-released on vinyl, is news of a further set of releases from Pink Floyd Records.

On September 23rd 2016, the continued reintroduction of the Pink Floyd catalogue on vinyl will see the release of Atom Heart Mother, Meddle and Obscured By Clouds all remastered from the original analogue master tapes, and on 180gram heavyweight vinyl. The aforementioned vinyl of The Wall and The Division Bell will be available from August 26th.

AHM was released in 1970, featured the much-loved, pastoral cover, and was the Floyd's first album which reached the number one position in the charts.

Echoes, arguably Meddle's highlight, gave listeners in 1971 a side-long epic which became an instant fan favourite.

As for 1972's Obscured By Clouds, this was a soundtrack album for the French film ‘La Vallée’, but many fans can see the clear parallels to the album which was to follow, The Dark Side of the Moon - so if you've yet to experience it, it is worth a good listen.

Already available on 180g vinyl are the band's first four albums, The Piper at the Gates of Dawn, A Saucerful Of Secrets, More, Ummagumma, which were released in June.

With many of you out there committed vinyl enthusiasts, we're sure these will be very popular releases.
