COMMENTS The second of two nights for David in the historic city of Vienna, and a spectacular palace. Schloss Schönbrunn is a former imperial summer residence. The 1,441-room Baroque palace is one of the most important architectural, cultural and historical monuments in the country. Since the mid-1950s it has been a major tourist attraction, and the history of the palace and its vast gardens spans over 300 years. Should be a good place to see David live! Tickets for this concert went on sale on Friday, February 5th, at 10am CET. Tickets are restricted to 4 per person. You can order tickets through Ticketnet.at. Our thanks to Branimir Kućar for sending over a scan of his ticket - which you can see in more detail if you click the thumbnail to the right.
WARNING - SPOILERS AHEAD! Do not read on if you don't want surprises to be spoilt, regarding what the band played! The second night in this wonderful location, and the seemingly slightly fluid set list saw Astronomy Domine make way for One Of These Days, but with the rest of the set as per Monday night's show. Initial comments are that the show was greatly appreciated by the audience, with a few noting that the second night musically had the edge on the first. A few days rest for the band before arriving in Rome for a couple of shows there. We'd love to know in more detail how this concert went. Did you go? Let us know what YOU thought!
CONCERT PICTURES and COMMENTS by BD CONTRIBUTOR, Branimir Kućar I managed to see Damon Iddins again, snatched an autograph from him, and he remembered me from Pula as the guy with a kid and a push chair! YOUR HELP NEEDED! We want to cover David's concerts the best we can, to share the experience with everyone, especially those who won't be able to attend the shows. We'd love to see ANY pictures, tickets scans, reviews, newspaper reports, and anything else you come across for this show - we look forward to hearing from you! |
