Tonite Let's All Make Love In London - 2012 Japanese editionOne for the collectors out there - the soundtrack album for the 1967 Peter Whitehead film, 'Tonite Let's All Make Love In London', gets a special CD release next month in Japan.

The film looked at the "swinging London" scene of the sixties, and is based around a series of psychedelic performances and interviews and features performance by Pink Floyd, together with footage of John Lennon, Yoko Ono, Mick Jagger, Vanessa Redgrave, Lee Marvin, Julie Christie, Allen Ginsberg, Eric Burdon, Michael Caine and many others.

This limited edition version of the album (appearing on July 25th, 2012) comes in a cardboard sleeve, a replica of the original UK LP. The CD itself is in the high-fidelity HQCD format (compatible with standard CD players) with K2HD mastering. It includes newly written liner notes and lyrics, and the Floyd tracks found on the album (unavailable elsewhere) are a 17-minute version of Interstellar Overdrive, two short reprises of the track, and the lesser-known track Nick's Boogie.

For those who want to add this to their collection, you can pre-order the release now from Amazon Japan and also CDJapan, both of which ship internationally. Our thanks to Kees Nijpels for letting us know about this upcoming release.
