COMMENTS Roger's tour of The Wall arrives in Brazil, for a show at the Estádio Beira-Rio (officially the Estádio José Pinheiro Borda). The concert was rescheduled to the intense interest in tickets for the Argentinian shows, and was originally due to take place on March 17th. General sale tickets are now on sale through Ticketmaster.com.br. The RogerWaters.com presales has also taken place for those who pre-registered their interest in this location. The public sale will also see a limited number of VIP packages made available for each show on the tour.
WARNING - SPOILERS AHEAD! Do not read on if you don't want surprises to be spoilt, regarding what the band played, and what happened as the night unfolded! Night twenty-seven of the tour, and the first of four discontinuous nights in Brazil. The Estadio Beira-Rio is a huge stadium, and clearly needed the expanded version of the show as seen in Chile and Argentina. As you will see from the picture below, found by our friend Simon Wimpenny, there were a LOT of fans packed into the stadium to enjoy what we hear was an excellent show. If you went to this show in Porto Alegre, please let us know what you thought of the event, and if anything interesting or different happened if you've been to previous shows and can compare. CONCERT COMMENTS and PICTURES by BD CONTRIBUTOR, Andreyson Jambersi I was at the first show in Brazil, 25th March in Porto Alegre - it was the happiest day of my life.
