British Music ExperienceTo coincide with Roger Waters' The Wall shows at The O2 Arena, the British Music Experience (a registered not-for-profit charity) and Rockarchive, have gathered together a fascinating selection of images both of, and inspired by, the band's music from the mid 1960's to their Live 8 reunion in 2005.

The exhibition, Shine On: Pink Floyd in Focus, includes rare images of Syd Barrett by Mick Rock, artwork from Storm Thorgerson/Hipgnosis studio, as well as candid images by Jill Furmanovsky, who has opened up her largely unseen archive to cast light on the band's dynamics as they recorded Wish You Were Here at Abbey Road and undertook the Dark Side of the Moon tour in the UK in the mid-70's. Even better, the exhibition will be free to ticket holders for Roger's concerts.

Paul Lilley, Curator of the British Music Experience said: "Pink Floyd are one of the greatest bands of all time, true pioneers. The collection from Rockarchive is quite stunning and we're delighted to be offering free entry for everyone coming to see Roger Waters' show at The O2 arena."

Entrance to the exhibition is free for every Roger Waters ticket holder and guests will have a special opportunity to view the entire British Music Experience for just £5 (usually £10). The exhibition runs from Wednesday 11th May until Monday 11th July. Entry to the exhibition is included in museum entry price (£10) for non-ticket holders.

Limited edition prints – printed, embossed and editioned in-house at Rockarchive – are available from the British Music Experience retail store, which is found at the exit of the BME itself, within the O2 complex.
