July 1st - PALAIS OMNISPORTS DE PARIS BERCY, PARIS, FRANCE |
Capacity: 17,000 Address of venue: 8 boulevard de Bercy, 75012 Paris. MAP Website: www.bercy.fr
COMMENTS The Palais Omnisports is one of Paris's better venues, and perfect for Roger's Wall show. With real grass covering the angled sides of the building, it is one of the more unusual places to perform. Tickets for the three nights originally announced for this venue understandable sold incredibly quickly and so Roger and company will be returning to France's capital for a further show to make it a total of four concerts here. General sale tickets went on sale February 2nd, through www.FNACSpectacles.com and other normal agents. The public sale will also see a limited number of VIP packages made available for each show on the tour.
WARNING - SPOILERS AHEAD! Do not read on if you don't want surprises to be spoilt, regarding what the band played, and what happened as the night unfolded! Night fifty-nine of the tour, and the last of four nights at Bercy in Paris. From here, there's just two nights in Milan, Italy, and then the concluding three nights in Athens, Greece. If you went to this show in the French capital, please let us know what you thought of the event, and if anything interesting or different happened if you've been to previous shows and can compare. CONCERT REVIEW and PICTURES by BD CONTRIBUTOR, Jérôme Ravon What a sound blast Friday for the last gig in Paris! We were 20 metres back from the stage so we were blown away by the sound. Roger seemed to be happier than the day before, thanking the crowd with a real sincerity after Outside The Wall. The audience had a really nice involvment with the show, and a great pleasure.
So Roger's now gone to Milano and Athens. This night will be unforgettable. CONCERT REVIEWS and PICTURES by other BD CONTRIBUTORS Hopefully coming soon - we welcome all contributions! YOUR HELP NEEDED! We want to cover Roger's concerts the best we can, to share the experience with everyone, especially those who won't be able to attend the shows. We'd love to see ANY pictures, tickets scans, reviews, newspaper reports, and anything else you come across for this show - we look forward to hearing from you! |
