Pink Floyd 1969 poster Pup Aid signed guitar

Further to our story a couple of weeks ago concerning the Pink Floyd quadrophonic consoles which are being offered for auction at Bonhams in London's Knightsbridge on December 15th, there's a couple of other items of great interest to Floyd fans in the sale.

First, there's lot 155: a poster for a long-forgotten concert that Pink Floyd performed at Dunelm House, at the University of Durham, on March 20th, 1969. Until this poster appeared in the catalogue, this show had not been noted anywhere and was destined to be just a memory for a lucky few. The estimated selling price for this is £450-550.

The other item is lot 284: a one-off Epiphone Casino guitar signed by a host of rock legends with the proceeds going to Pup Aid. The charity was launched by Oasis singer Liam Gallagher to raise awareness of the terrible trade of puppy farming. The guitar is expected to sell for between £3000-4000, and is signed by the likes of Jimmy Page, Keith Richards, Eric Clapton, Brian May, Roger Daltrey, and David Gilmour, amongst others.
