Roger's mammoth tour of The Wall just doesn't seem to be able to end, and at the start of December, this show was added to the end of the schedule. This makes it a total of five nights at the Mediolanum Forum in Milan, albeit split by three months!
The RogerWaters.com presales began Friday, December 3rd, with advance tickets available to those who had registered their interest in particular cities. General sale tickets went on sale shortly after through TicketOne.it. The public sale will also see a limited number of VIP packages made available for each show on the tour. Our thanks to Eduardo for the ticket scan shown to the right.
PLEASE NOTE: On April 20th, the date of this concert was changed from July 6th to July 3rd; Roger Waters management announced that due to an opportunity to film The Wall in Greece in early July, they have found it necessary to reschedule the two concerts in Milan originally planned for July 6th and 7th 2011.
Tickets for the July 6th show are now valid for the July 3rd show, and tickets for the July 7th show are now valid for the July 4th show. Tickets will only be valid for these rescheduled dates as above, it will not be possible to exchange dates or seats. They apologize in advance for any inconvenience that the change of dates may cause.
Existing tickets are automatically valid for the new dates, but if you are unable to attend your new date, then please apply for a refund at the point of purchase, not later than June 15th 2011.

Do not read on if you don't want surprises to be spoilt, regarding what the band played, and what happened as the night unfolded!
Night sixty of the tour, and the fifth of six (non-consecutive) nights in Milan. Just four nights to go after this one, before the whole production takes a well-deserved break. Another great show, as you'll see from the review below. First of all, great show.
This is my second solo-Roger, the first being in Rome a few years ago, in an open stadium. I'll start with the negative: the sound to me was not "classic Floyd". It wasn't pitch perfect like past times; the band in its various incarnations has spoiled us with this incredible "tridimensional" sound but this time it was missing; maybe I'm too picky but it is well known in Italy that the Assago Forum isn't really built for music and unfortunately this was proven true once again. The show still sounds good, and would be the envy of any artist but the Floyd.
But enough with the negatives: the visuals are great, really really great and moving; loudest ovation on "mama should I trust the government" with the writings on the wall answering "no fucking way" (appropriately translated in italian "Col Cazzo" to which I'd have add "Berlusconi fuck yourself". End of rambling)
Roger is in a really good shape both vocally and physically and always seems to really connect with the italian audience that is engaged and disciplined (strange for us, but we respect music and great artist ^__^)
The song of the night? I go with Run Like Hell, the best rendition live that I've heard; really powerful with our gigantic pig friend roaming free on our heads.
Another flawless show, another storm of emotions and wonderful music. The guy still has it.
Shame to the insane prices of the t-shirt: 35 euros ??? No fucking way.
Shame also to the inadequate underground metro service.

It's hard to tell about a show like this, just the morning after, with all the emotions and the images flowing as a river in my mind and my heart. I know well that this has been probably my last concert with Roger or David and this fills me of sadness, but the guys are old and this is the way it goes. A personal circle, started with the first time I heard Wish You Were Here when I was 15, it was 1990, possibly closed itself yesterday with the perfect show. they changed my life, even being separated and in war each other, they gave me words and music to colour in my best moments. The circle continued with the DB tour, the solo concerts and the incredible week in 2006 with 2 shows in 7 days, from the Royal Albert Hall to the Arena in Verona.
What about yesterday? I can tell you that I had the chance to look straight in my mother's eyes, who died when I was a child, I saw my most terrifying nighmares projected onto that wall, I played with my fears and sweetly felt 'em slide away.... I have to admit that a couple of times I felt deeply moved. Despite too many critics I have read, the sound seemed perfect to us even from our position, certainly not the best to enjoy the surround effects.
I really appreciated a few small imperfections from Roger and the band, wich reminded us that it was a true live performance:) I wish I could enjoy this show again and again, to note every little detail of a total show like this.
