Just when we thought a trio of shows being held in Chicago for Roger's tour of The Wall was it, a fourth night has now been added, due to huge demand. Our thanks to Johnny for the ticket scan opposite.

Do not read on if you don't want surprises to be spoilt, regarding what the band played, and what happened as the night unfolded!
Night seven of the tour, and the final evening in Chicago. As with the previous three nights, the "children's choir" that took part in Another Brick In The Wall (part 2) came from Endure Productions, a Matteson-based song-and dance group. The tour now moves to Pittsburgh for the show there at the Consol Energy Center on Sunday evening.

7th show on the tour. 4th Chicago show.
What a show tonight. Was stood row 14 right in the middle. My friend Maria and I had such a blast tonight. The show was absolutely fantastic and you could tell the crowd was very much into it tonight. I overheard a lot of people talking about whether Gilmour was supposed to come on or not, but I knew he wasn't and in the end it didn't really matter.
This was clearly the best of the shows so far. An amazing performance by the whole of the band. Roger was spot on addressing the crowd even more than earlier.
Solos by all guitarists was delivered fully. GE Smith getting into it more and more. The confidence is certainly building for Roger and all of his band members. The kids was yet again so full of energy it had the whole crowd rocking. Fantastic Mother, Goodbye Blue Sky, Empty Spaces / What Shall We Do Now (the highlight of the show for me). Another Brick 3 and Last Few Bricks seemed a bit different to night but was exhillerating. Those backing guys just fukcing nail it every time when the bricks dissapear into nothingness. It gives me the creeps everytime and sends the old shivers down my spine, making hairs stand up on arms, back and head.
Everything tonight just seemed perfect!!!
The inflatables, the Stuka, kids, everything was just perfect!!!!!!! The fascist swine piggy went all the way around the soundboard this time. The wall seemed to be falling the furthest on to the crowd for this show. Maria and I just stood there in awe, witnessing it all. The thing about the wall is it's getting more worn out to look at for each show. When it's build it kinda looked a bit smooth for the first of the shows, now it looks a bit used which actually is a fantastic feature in itself. It's just cardboard bricks you know!!!!
Homeless guy was having fun and said to me he was collecting the money for charity when I tipped him the usual dollar. What the hell can you say when a guy pushes a trolley down the aisle with a sign saying "Homeless - Need Money For Booze And Hookers". Such a funny feature.
Love this show.
