Do not read on if you don't want surprises to be spoilt, regarding what the band played, and what happened as the night unfolded!

Night fifteen of the tour, and the sole show in Buffalo, NY. From here, the show goes to Washington DC before returning to New York state for a couple of shows over at Long Island.

Initial reports are that concert was another unforgettable event. If you went to this show, let us know what you thought of the event, and if anything interesting or different happened if you've been to previous shows and can compare!

The local media were present, of course, and a glowing review was featured in the Buffalo News, who said that "On Friday, a sold-out, packed-to-the-rafters HSBC Arena bore witness to the full performance of Waters' masterpiece, "The Wall". This was not a mere concert. It was an audiovisual play set to music. That music towers, like the wall itself, above its contemporaries as one of the greatest pieces of rock art to have emerged from the 20th century." They also noted that "the sound, like the performance itself, was simply outstanding and beyond reproach throughout."

Buffalo Rising called the show "One for the Ages", saying that "the combination of superior sound and visual effects made the show exactly what I had always dreamed of. Leaving political issues to the side (if you can with this piece) it was a pure work of art".

CONCERT REVIEW and PICTURES by BD CONTRIBUTOR, Mike Leo

Mike Leo, Buffalo October 8th 2010Having attended one of the original Wall shows in 1980 I was already prepared not to be blown away by Roger’s "remake" of the show. That could not have been further from the truth!

From the opening all the way to "Outside the Wall" at the end, there was nothing but explosive perfection! The new additions to his normal "staff" of musicians were the perfect mix. And while I thought I'd never say it, the vocals of Robbie Wyckoff stood right up next to that of David. On a scale of 1-10, I give Roger's show and his crew an 11!

Mike has very kindly set up an extensive gallery of great pictures from this concert (click the thumbnail above for a taster of what's in store). You can access the gallery at www.promultitrack.com/braindamage. Go and have a look - there's a huge number of great pictures there, helped by his position in the audience, close to the stage. Thanks Mike!

CONCERT REVIEW by BD CONTRIBUTOR, Simon Wimpenny

I was looking forward to hearing what Bob and Andy though of the show after they had not seen the show since the first three so I was hoping for a great show and it was! On the rail for the first half and dead centre 13th row for the second half really it doesn't get any better than these positions for the sound and seeing the band up close! The sound was the best I'd heard it at any of the shows, it wasn't without fault though as there were a couple of times when the projections were out of focus or the wrong thing was projected.

The music was fantastic though I didn't spot a single mistake music wise. The guitar solo during Comfy Numb was unreal, never heard a solo like it. Kami swears blind it was because Dave was so excited to have met her and he was buzzing from hugging her, it was however a different reason that Dave explained to us is Washington DC!

There was one thing I noticed in Buffalo, I mentioned earlier that the bricks are getting a bit worn and a few marks etc but one brick in particular has what looks like a corner torn off it!! This must have been the brick that Jens sabotaged while he was here in the US!! lol
