Celebrating the 40th anniversary of Storm Thorgerson's first commission for Pink Floyd - the cover for 1968's "A Saucerful Of Secrets" - and the unique relationship between the band and artist, the exhibition travels through time revisiting those significant moments in their musical history. Running from Saturday, June 6th through to Sunday, July 19th, it is on for just over six weeks, and has on display all the creative results of musical and artistic collaboration between the Floyd and Storm. You owe it to yourself (and to Storm!) to pay the exhibition a visit if you are in the Cambridge area over the next month or so - just check out our review of the show when it was in London last July.
The exhibition itself is now open, and being held at Babylon Gallery, in Ely, Cambridgeshire. The gallery is open daily (except Mondays) from 12 noon until 4pm and admission is free. For further information, please visit www.adec.org.uk. |
