Long running and well respected glossy music magazine, Q, has published the second of a three part special called "50 Years Of Rock'n'Roll" - the first part was covered on last month's news pages, and this time we look at the Floyd content of the issue that concentrates on the 1970's.

Unlike the first part, there is less Floyd content this time around. Despite the fact of some very significant releases from the band during the 70's, the focus is more on other artists - Led Zeppelin, The Clash, Queen, Bob Marley, Abba, Blondie, The Jam, and the Sex Pistols... Pink Floyd fans get a (nice) double page picture of the pig above Battersea Power Station, taken from the window of a nearby apartment, and the inclusion at number 5 of Dark Side Of The Moon, in their list of the records that changed the world in the 70's.

The magazine is currently on UK shop shelves, and should be available in other countries soon. It can also be ordered through this link. The final part should be out within the next month.
