The Final Cut reissue update

As a follow-up to the news last week concerning the new running time of Pink Floyd's The Final Cut, getting a remastered reissue towards the end of this month, we've had some more information from Chris Diemoz and his source.

They've analysed the new version closely, and confirm that whilst overall (not including the addition of Tigers) the running time is indeed six seconds shorter, absolutely nothing is missing and the difference is mainly due to the cross-fade into and out of Tigers. It's a process that, by its nature, depends on where you start and stop the clock - it can make a subtle difference. Having seen the revised track times, it seems clear that different start/stop points have been used throughout the album...
