The April 2004 edition of the UK's Record Collector Magazine, always worth a look, includes a nice colour picture of the Pink Floyd from the photoshoot in Hay's Mews, London (where you see what looks like the back doors of properties, drain pipes, etc.) on the news page. This accompanies mention of the delay to the remastered edition of The Final Cut CD.

Record Collector also state that Dark Side Of The Moon "has also been issued on a DualDisc CD/DVD-V hybrid in Japan". We believe that this is actually the HDCD (High Definition Compact Disc) of Dark Side Of The Moon, which was issued a few months ago, and brings the number of these new format CDs featuring Floyd tunes, to three.

Brain Damage has all three and we are currently working our way through them to prepare a feature on them - showcasing the packaging, the interesting song selections (and titling), and the differences in sound quality. At present, few machines can take advantage of the improved sound quality of these CDs, so it might go the way of Betamax, but who knows?
