We have just received details of a new book, published in France and Belgium this month, which collects together photographs from renowned concert snapper, Paul Coerten. "Golden Years - Rock'n'Roll 70/80" is a celebration of many of the biggest names in live music, in atmospheric and telling live portraits.

One of the shows that Paul covered is Pink Floyd's February 1977 Sportpaleis concert in Antwerp, Belgium. The start of the Animals tour, it covers both on- and off-stage shots, bringing life back to the concert.

From what we have already seen, there are some great shots of Roger Waters in action, along with other members of the band, and road crew.

Other artists in the book, photographed at various concerts and festivals, include Queen, Genesis, The Clash and Led Zeppelin. In all there are over 300 pictures, and to demonstrate Paul's reputation, the foreword of the book is written by none other than Peter Gabriel.

We have contacted the publishers and as soon as we have information on release dates in other countries, we will let you know. The book, some 200 pages long and large format (30cm by 24cm), retails for 40 Euros.
