Pink Floyd are amongst the legends who have received a nomination into the UK Music Hall Of Fame. The band have been included in the line-up for the list of artists from the 1970's, alongside acts such as David Bowie, Stevie Wonder and The Clash.

The UK Music Hall Of Fame is being run by Channel 4 television in the UK, polling the public for their favourite musicians of all time. Each week, a different decade is chosen for the public's deliberation. This Sunday, at 9pm, each of the shortlisted artists (decided by music industry experts) will be profiled, putting the case for their inclusion into the final selection of all time greats.

The show promises some interesting footage and insights into the band, and their competitors. Indeed, we were recently approached by a researcher for the show after some information to help their preparation of the show.

Our thanks to Mark Turpin for tipping us off about the band's inclusion in this week's show!
