To celebrate the release of the new, limited edition DVD of the movie "Pink Floyd - The Wall", we some very special prizes for you in a competition that ended on December 5th. We were snowed under with entries (unsurprisingly) and have now gone through them all and picked three lucky winners!

The new, limited edition features all-new packaging, designed by Storm Thorgerson and Peter Curzon, based on the original designs by Gerald Scarfe. The slipcover features debossed bricks, and inside, a reproduction of the original movie poster as supplied to Storm by Brain Damage!

The following two people were drawn as runners up - they will each receive a copy of the DVD soon:

Tomas, Lithuania
Albert Reynolds, UK

And this person struck luckiest - getting a copy of the poster reproduction signed by none other than Roger Waters in silver pen:

William E. Ashman, Rhode Island, USA

One of the questions in particular caught out some people - we asked what well-known British concert venue was used for the LA Sports Arena scenes in the film (with the concert goers being hassled by police when arriving for the show). Roger Waters himself has stated in interviews that it was Wembley Arena (formerly known as Wembley Empire Pool) that was used in the scene.

For all of you who weren't lucky this time, Amazon are currently taking orders through our special links at Amazon.com, UK, Canada, France, or Germany. The US edition is released on January 25th 2005; all the other editions have been released now.

Our thanks to our friends over at PPR for providing these great prizes.
