The specialist book publishers, Genesis Publications, have now announced their collaboration with Nick Mason. They will be producing a very special limited edition of his fantastic book, "Inside Out: A Personal History Of Pink Floyd". Here's their news release about the collaboration:
Anyone who has seen the great job that Genesis did with "Psychedelic Renegades" by Mick Rock will know that this very special edition of Nick's book will be a work of art. As stated above, they will initially offer it to past customers of their books. Over the years, they have published a number of superb titles, covering artists such as Syd Barrett (Psychedelic Renegades), Bob Marley, Eric Clapton and The Beatles. They were founded in 1974 by Brian Roylance, who wanted to start a unique publishing company true to the art of printing and craftsmanship whilst establishing a close relationship with its authors and customers. Since then, their reputation for producing exceptional signed limited editions has grown apace. So much so, that the deluxe edition of Psychedelic Renegades even featured the signature of one Roger Keith Barrett, persuaded to sign his friend Mick Rock's book! We are hoping to have more information on this package soon - and indeed, will be placing our order as soon as we can! A review of the contents will naturally follow... Our thanks to Roger Little for the initial news of the collaboration. If you are unable to get hold of a copy of this exclusive edition, or your budget won't stretch to the price of it (although we don't know how much it will be yet) the normal edition (in signed and unsigned flavours) are currently available to order, of course. Signed and dedicated books are still being offered to UK fans, using the order form found here in our news pages, but be aware that this is a time limited offer so get your orders in now if you want to guarantee your copy, especially with Nick off to foreign shores soon to promote international releases of his book. The signed books are priced at £30 plus shipping, and for those of you who have asked the question, it is DEFINITELY Nick that is signing these! Alternatively, Amazon are promoting the book heavily on their websites, with many countries offering it at a discounted price (including Amazon UK, who are currently offering it at an astonishing £12, down from £30!). |
